Help Firefox Set A Guiness World Record.
I usually reserve my technology posts for my tech blog www.adidat.net but I feel that Firefox is something everyone should be using, here's why:
Firefox is an internet browser that is heads and tails better than Internet Explorer. No pop ups, less spyware, and tons of features not found in Internet Explorer such as:
Protection from Spyware - Firefox will not allow a Web site to download, install, or run programs on your computer without your explicit agreement. Period. You will be notified whenever downloading or installing software, and Firefox will always tell you what’s happening so that you can stay in control of your computer.
Spell Checker - Now Firefox checks your spelling for you! As you type and it notices a spelling error Firefox underlines the error in red and if you right click on it gives you a choice of correct spellings or to add it to the dictionary if it's a custom word.
- Phishing - Firefox now checks the website you're on to make sure it's not a phishing site.
- Enhanced search capabilities: Search term suggestions will now appear as users type in the integrated search box when using the Google, Yahoo! or Answers.com search engines. A new search engine manager makes it easier to add, remove and re-order search engines, and users will be alerted when Firefox encounters a website that offers new search engines that the user may wish to install.
- Improved tabbed browsing: By default, Firefox will open links in new tabs instead of new windows, and each tab will now have a close tab button. Power users who open more tabs than can fit in a single window will see arrows on the left and right side of the tab strip that let them scroll back and forth between their tabs. The History menu will keep a list of recently closed tabs, and a shortcut lets users quickly re-open an accidentally closed tab.
Coming sometime in June the Mozilla Foundation will release Firefox 3.0 and they're asking for your help in making it the most downloaded piece of software ever in one day. So come on you know you want to support the best browser out there.
Stop being a conformist and stop using Internet Exploder Explorer already. Why not download Firefox 2.0 while you wait for Firefox 3.0?
Dexter Goes To The Creek.
We all know how much Milo loves water, and especially the stream running through our apartment complex, so it was time to see if Dexter does too.
He was a little nervous at first but he was starting to get the hang of it. A few more months and I have no doubt that he'll be chasing Milo around the water.

Some Outdoor Dexter Shots.
I've got quite a collection of Dexter pics already (74 in um 5 days) so I thought I'd share a sample of some of the outdoors ones.
Dexter giving me his sad face...
I hope he never gets control over those ears.
This is straight from my "chase cam".
This is Dexter's favorite spot now, in the mulch chewing on sticks.

Milo Gets A Brother!
Meet Dexter, Milo's little brother. Dexter is an 8 week old Yorkie and is an early (surprise) birthday present for Niki.
My good buddy Greg went with me for the big surprise. It was only a 2 1/2 hour drive so it wasn't to bad.
Dexter sure found ways to stay entertained on his trip to his new home.
Milo and Dexter meet for the first time, and after only a few short hours together they seemed to be having a great time.
This is my favorite Dexter trait so far: he sleeps with his tongue out just a smidgen, Air Jordan Style.
Be sure to check out Dexter's iPhoto Gallery for lots of great pictures.
Oh, and don't forget about Milo's Photo's too!

Not So "Daily" Anymore.
For over the past year now I've blogged about Milo everyday, and posted a new picture/video up of him as well. It has been so much fun to capture all the great moments you have as a puppy is growing up. But it's to the point now where Milo is pretty grown up and I've saturated the blog with almost every type of activity I can think of Milo doing.
Don't worry though, I will still be posting plenty about Milo, it just won't be everyday. So you can still expect tons of posts on Milo, it could 3 times a week or even 5-6 times depending on the week and Milo's activities.
It's been a great 14 months and I'm always looking for suggestions for ways to make Dailymilo.com better, so if you have any be sure to send them my way.
