Dexter's First Bath.

Dexter got his first bath last night, and the washing wasn't too much fun but drying him wasn't to bad at all.

Dexter's signature move, the Air Jordan, tongue-out look.

All wrapped up and trying to get warm after the bath.

Bath Time: Toy Time.

I gave Milo a bath today what was the first thing he wanted to do?

Play with his toys... He wasn't even dry yet, and here he is playing tug-of-war with me.

Come on, how do you say no to that face?

A Shower Ater The Rain.

Milo hates being wet, so between all the flash flooding we've been having and trying to keep him clean, he's having a tough time staying dry...

Back In The Lou.

Well Milo and I made it safely back from our trip to Indy. Even making it through rain, sleet, and freezing rain (with Milo sleeping the whole time).

Milo got a nice bath after a weekend filled with dogs, a road trip, and snow.

Wet Dog.

Because of all the snow and other crazy weather we've been having in St. Louis Milo hasn't been getting his weekly baths. Hopefully now we can get back on schedule.

See how white and fluffy his is!

One Wet Dog.

Milo got a bath tonight, but he didn't want to dry off.

I wasn't going to touch him, look at that face!

A Ball And A Rug.

Milo got a bath tonight, and after sprinting around the house for a bit he ended up in the bathroom.

He seemed to have a little mental disagreement about what he wanted: the rug or the ball. You can't have 'em both big guy...

Finally, that hair is starting to grow back...

Crazy Time!

I gave Milo a bath today and as part of his drying off process, he decided to go crazy!

He couldn't decide between the rug and the ball...

And he caught me.

That ball is gonna get it...

The Long Walk Home.

Today Niki went with me to hand out flyer's for my dad's company (Architectural Concepts, let me know if you need any remodeling!) and Milo came with us.

Milo met some friends on the way: a Carin Terrier named Todo (what else could you name a Carin), a Scotty name Maggie (Scottish Terrier), and a Teacup Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier) named Tiny Tim (who's for sale BTW). With all these young Terrier's around things sure got crazy but I think they all had fun, except maybe Tiny Tim, at only 1 and 1/2 pounds he was yet ready to run with um,.. the big dogs...

When we got home Milo got his daily a bath, and went strait to my bed.

That's One Wet Dog.

Milo went a little crazy in the recently turned-back-on creek.

He decided to run through it waist deep.

Then, to dry himself off he though it would be a great idea to use the mulch.

After his bath, he proceeded to dry himself on his bed.

You know, a towel would have been just fine...

Milo In The Mud.

Milo decided to "play" in the mud today.

Two days in a row that he gets a bath.

Maybe he'll learn...

Bath Time.

It's hard to get a picture of Milo while he's drying off, but we tried.

Milo In The Bath.

If you've ever wondered what a wet Milo looks like, here's your chance.

He does pretty well in the bath, for a while...

Then he just ready to get out.

Also, I want to give a shout out to my good buddy Dan who is staying with us for the next 10 days. He'll (obviously) be filling in and helping me blog about Milo. He no stranger to blogging, so we should be in for some good posts.

Milo's Day At The Pool.

Well Milo's big day at the pool with 50 or so other dogs wasn't as big of a hit as I thought it would be. He still seems a little skittish around big dogs after you know "The Accident", on a positive note he did seem to enjoy the water.

This is about as friendly as he was all day...

Maybe he would have liked the slide.

Amazing how erriely similar this picture is to last years award winning photo.

This is the, "I'm done swimming face".

Of course after he got home he went straight into the tub, and subsequently decided to dry off all over Niki's clothes.

I've got a few videos that I will be putting up in the next day or two, so keep and eye out for that. Also, check out the entire photo set on Flickr.

All Clean.

Over the weekend I gave the dogs a bath. What a challenge to give three hyper dogs a bath at the same time. Never again... ;-)

His First "Free" Day.

I let Milo go free today, well free roam of the house that is. I left to go get a haircut, and decided to give it a try.

Everything seems intact, nothing missing, and no chew marks in the furniture.

Now to be fair I was only gone for around 30 minutes, so we'll have to see how he does with longer stints.

Milo also got a bath today, and he did a lot better in the tub than usual, he just kinda stood there as apposed to trying to claw out the whole time.
