There's lots of reason to own a small dog: live longer, better health (generally), less shedding, less money spent of food, they're more portable, smaller equipment (leashes, cages, bones, collars), allowable in more apartments, and the good old 'lap dog' feature.
Milo is great for this, he loves to snuggle. He's always one to hop up on the couch, chair, bed, etc. and lay right on top of me. You know, just to make sure that I know he's around.
